Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Handyman Labourers specializing in interlock, retaining walls, landscaping, and tree services. This role involves working on various outdoor projects that enhance the aesthetic and structural integrity of residential and commercial properties. Ideal candidates will have a passion for construction, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance, with a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork. This position offers an opportunity to develop hands-on skills in landscape architecture and construction while contributing to transformative outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of interlock paving, retaining walls, and other landscape features using appropriate tools and techniques
- Perform landscaping tasks including planting, gardening, irrigation setup, and general yard maintenance
- Operate machinery such as excavators and power tools safely and efficiently for site preparation and construction tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Support tree service operations including trimming, removal, and related arboricultural activities
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during project execution
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications
- Assist with site cleanup and material handling to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, construction, or related outdoor work is preferred
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, irrigation systems, and landscape design is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and machinery operation is desirable
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators (training provided if necessary)
- Familiarity with construction practices including retaining walls and interlock installation
- Strong work ethic with physical stamina for outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to landscaping and construction work
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation between job sites

Pay: $15.55-$35.00 per hour
