Temporary Retail Installer - $27/hour - Store Setup - Day Shift- 8 Week Project
M30 Retail Services is hiring Fixture Installer/Display Builder(s) in AB - Fort McMurray to join a crew, working on section renovations in a big box retailer. We are looking for 11 individual(s) with building experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Renovation and building of new fixtures/features in retail location
- Installation of displays and/or fixtures
- Tear down of displays and fixtures and packaging stock for shipment
- General labour as required
Qualifications
- Retail experience considered an asset / comfortable reading building prints or planograms
- Carpentry, fixture installer or building/assembly experience required
- Own tools to use during project (hammer, screwdrivers, knife, level, tape measure, cordless drill etc.)
- Handy person with common sense and excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Experience with pallet jack an asset
- Physically fit and strong. Capable of standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting and lifting up to 50lbs continuously for the duration of the shift
- PPE required: CSA Approved Hard Hat / Casque de securite approuve par la CSA, CSA Approved Safety Footwear / Chaussures de securite approuvees par la CSA, CSA approved protective eyewear, Safety Vest / Gilet de securite, Work Gloves / Gants de travail - to be provided by the employee and worn each night
- Safety Certification required: WHMIS - within the last 12 months / SIMDUT - au cours des 12 derniers mois, current within the last 12 months
Rate: $27/hour + vacation pay
Location: AB - Fort McMurray
Project Dates: August 3rd - September 24th 2026
Availability: Mon-Friday, Dayshifts 7am-330pm or 8am-430pm (Times TBC)
Hours/week: Up to 40 hours per week
