We are seeking a reliable and experienced Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty concrete mixer trucks to deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment operation, and a solid understanding of construction processes. Duties
- Safely operate and drive ready-mix concrete trucks to deliver materials to designated construction sites.
- Ensure the proper mixing and delivery of concrete according to project specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on trucks and associated equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each load delivered.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, paving, and site safety standards.
- Collaborate with dispatch to coordinate delivery schedules and site requirements.
- Assist in setting up and preparing work sites for concrete pouring activities.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as loaders, excavators, and paving machinery.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and construction sites.
- Strong work ethic with excellent punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads as needed.
Must Have’s:
- Class 1 and/or 3 driver’s license with airbrake endorsement.
- Minimum 3 years Class 3 driving experience.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Positive attitude and outlook.
- Ability to do moderate lifting 50-70 lbs.
- Off-road heavy truck driving experience.
- Ability to work 10 hours shifts (Mon - Fri).
This position is essential for ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining safety standards on-site.
