Ogilvie’s Auto & Fleet Service is seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Technician. We are an automotive garage which means we offer a wide range of vehicle maintenance and car repair services that help prolong the life of your vehicle. We work with many fleet customers and can service vehicles including but not limited to: light and heavy duty vehicles, transports, motorhomes, motorcycles, and select hot rods.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with 40 hours per week, competitive hourly wages, benefits, and vacation pay. The job is based out of Jasper, ON. Drivers’ License and transportation required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various vehicle systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
Requirements
- Prior experience in automotive repair is required
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
Schedule:
- 40-hour work week
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as/if needed
Wages/Salary:
· Pay depends on abilities and experience
