Topa is looking for motivated candidates to join our team as a general labourers. The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the Topa team to help maintain the construction sites.
Position Title: General Labourer (summer student & full time positions)
Location: Esterhazy
Start Date: Immediately
Closing: Position will remain open until successful candidates are hired
Responsibilities:
- Work independently or under minimum supervision
- Grass cutting
- Wiper Snipper
- Push mower / Driving mower
- Meet physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task
- Maintain a clean and organized work place
- Participate in safety meeting and toolbox talk with supervision
- Adhere to all company’s safety protocols
- General housekeeping duties
- Working off ladders/scaffolding
Experience/Skills:
- Safety FIRST Mentality
- Ability to listen and take direction with positive, can-do attitude
- Valid Driver’s license with a clean drivers record
- Must possess basic English - verbal/written
- Able to work as part of a team, and individually when required
- Attention to detail
- Experience in an industrial setting
