We are accepting applications at our family-owned long-term care home for a full time Food Service Supervisor / Cook to cover maternity leave for up to 18 months.
Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12 minimum is required.
- Completion of a recognized course in Nutrition Management from an accredited community college or equivalent (i.e. Ontario Hospital Association) is mandatory.
- Current membership in the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management and/or the Ontario Food Service Supervisor's Association is mandatory.
- Awareness of the FLTCA and regulations, Public Health Standards, H.A.C.C.P., Union Contracts, and Health and Safety Issues are all preferred.
- Experience in the management and supervision of Dietary staff is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well with others verbally and in written form.
- The ability to work independently, self regulate and control their work area environment is essential.
Position to start approximately October 2026.
Pay: $35.42 per hour
