Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health education, and supporting a positive dental experience for all patients. Bilingual skills and experience with pediatric patients are highly valued, along with proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Provide oral health education tailored to individual patient needs, including proper brushing and flossing techniques
- Assist in the development of personalized treatment plans alongside the dentist
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Support the dental team with procedures such as applying sealants or fluoride treatments
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment
- Communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care and customer service
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) is required
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred, especially with pediatric patients or orthodontics
- Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental management software is advantageous
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations
- Experience in dental assisting or customer service roles can be an asset in providing comprehensive patient support

Pay: $38.54-$61.54 per hour
