Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Staff Member to join our team in roles including cashier, packer, and cook. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling with accuracy.
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient service to enhance customer experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Pack orders efficiently for dine-in or take-out customers while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation standards.
- Assist in upselling menu items to increase sales opportunities.
- Follow food safety protocols during food preparation, handling, and storage.
- Support team members during busy periods by performing various tasks such as serving or cleaning as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar is a plus.
- Experience in cashiering, food preparation, or kitchen operations is desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and upsell menu items when appropriate.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy are essential.
