Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, maintaining store presentation, and supporting daily store operations. The successful candidate will receive training and may have the opportunity to become a certified bra fitter as they develop within the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a professional and engaging manner.
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
- Process sales, returns, exchanges, and gift cards through the POS system.
- Maintain product knowledge on lingerie, sleepwear, shapewear, and accessories.
- Ensure merchandise is stocked, organized, and attractively displayed.
- Assist with receiving shipments, inventory counts, and restocking.
- Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and store areas clean and presentable.
- Support promotional events and seasonal merchandising initiatives.
- Build positive customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Fulfill online orders by processing purchases, preparing shipments, packaging products, and coordinating customer pickups while ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Participate in bra fitting training and, upon successful completion, provide fitting services to customers.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is a considerable asset but not required.
- Previous bra fitting experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a customer-focused environment.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
- Ability to learn new products and sales techniques.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate a POS system.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
