Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Interior Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, proven experience in precision painting, and a passion for delivering quality results. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and prime interior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trim, and fixtures, ensuring proper paint adhesion and a smooth finish.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired shade and consistency.
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Perform detailed and precision painting, including cutting in and edging techniques.
- Repair and touch up imperfections by patching holes, sanding rough spots, and filling cracks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
- Inspect completed work to ensure consistency and accuracy, performing touch-ups as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an interior painter in residential or commercial construction.
- Proven expertise in detailed and precision painting, including advanced cutting in and edging techniques.
- Proficiency in using various painting tools and equipment, including sprayers and rollers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders and scaffolding as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with specialized finishes (e.g., faux finishes, textured coatings).
- Knowledge of current paint products and application techniques.
